Living the Intern Life

Walking into Outsoar PH for the very first time felt like stepping into a completely different world. As a student who was used to classroom activities, coding exercises, and practice projects, entering a real web and app development company was both exciting and nerve-racking. I didn’t know what to expect, how challenging the tasks would be, or whether I was truly ready for the fast-paced environment of actual development work.

But as the days passed, those feelings slowly turned into motivation and confidence. What made the experience special was how welcoming and supportive the team was. They treated interns as actual contributors, not just students observing from the sidelines. Every task became an opportunity to learn something new, improve my problem-solving skills, and understand how development works in the real world.

A Journey Worth Taking

My journey at Outsoar PH was more than just completing internship hours, it was a period of growth, challenges, and discovery. From working on full-stack projects using Laravel to experiencing how real development teams collaborate, every task pushed me to improve both technically and personally. I entered the company with doubts and limited experience, but I leave with stronger skills, greater confidence, and a clearer vision of the developer I want to become. This experience reminded me that progress doesn’t happen overnight, it happens through continuous learning, patience, and the courage to keep going even when things get difficult.

Projects: During my internship at Outsoar PH, I worked on real-world full-stack development projects using Laravel. One of the projects I helped develop was a coordinating application designed to improve workflow and communication, along with Cooper, a time tracking application focused on productivity and work management. Through these projects, I gained hands-on experience in coding, debugging, testing features, and collaborating with a development team in a professional environment. Working on actual systems was both challenging and exciting because it allowed me to apply my skills beyond the classroom.

Learnings: This internship taught me valuable lessons not only in development but also in teamwork, communication, and adaptability. I learned how full-stack development works in real projects, how to solve problems more efficiently, and how important patience is when facing bugs and challenges. Although there were moments when tasks felt overwhelming, each experience helped me become more confident and motivated as an aspiring developer. Most importantly, I realized that growth comes from stepping outside your comfort zone and continuously learning from every challenge along the way.
